The infamous "How Well Do You Know Them"

The Questions

1. Do you know if they have a favorite color? If you answered yes, do you know what it is?
He'd say blue. Although.. he's really into earth tones for his body and gray for home accents, etc.

2. When was the last time your future spouse ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Daniel ate Peanut Butter and Honey sandwiches a few times a week last spring when he found out that Fresh and Easy carried whipped honey. 

3. Speaking of sandwiches, how does your spouse feel about BLTs? I think Daniel feels OK about BLTA's. But really only if the Avo is from CA not Chile. 

4. In what order does your future spouse get ready?
Daniel's routine is so detailed and habitual that it's really hard NOT to notice. Shave, Wash Face, Shower, towel, boxers, jeans, full-length mirror check, (hair either goes before or after jeans) bathroom mirror check, teeth (optional) shirt, jacket, full length mirror check, cologne, final check. (This processes takes of pretty quickly)

6. What's your spouse's favorite song?
Depends. Asking this question would be like asking me what my favorite food was.

7. What concert would your spouse fork out big bucks to sit front row at?
Anything that he was remotely interested in. Most likely something like SXSW. I'd spend big bucks for us to see David Gray.

8. What radio station does your spouse listen to most?
NPR

9. What CD is in his or her car's CD player right now?
Dan's POD

10. What's your spouse's dream job? Drumming. 

11. Speaking of sports, do you know if your spouse had a sports hero growing up and who it was?
Who plays for the Red Sox?  Definitely a baseball player.

12. Sticking to sports, do you know if there's an athlete your spouse would like to meet? He'd probably  be more interested in meeting Dan Dennett
 
13. Have any movies ever made your spouse cry? Do you know which ones? Too many to count. (This is one of my favorite of Dan's traits... he's shamelessly sensitive)

14. What expression does your spouse use most? There have been a few memorable phrases: Namely, "Prob So/ Prob Not"

15. How would your spouse dress 24/7 if they could? Cut Off dickies shorts (or slim jeans), vans, and a band tee.

16. What did your spouse eat for lunch yesterday? Chicken. (haha too easy. Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich meal large size with a DP)

17. Whose email addresses are stored in their computer's address book?
autosave doesn't count.

18. Whose phone numbers are stored in their cell phone?
speed dial

19. What kind of burial preferences does your spouse have? 

20. Has your spouse ever wanted to know how to speak another language? If so, which one? German. he still has fun sneaking words and phrases in every once in a while.

21. What's the longest book your spouse has ever read?
something Kafka. -- in progress 

22. What's their favorite book?
If you asked him today --- Why the Last Man 

23. Who was their favorite author as a child?

24. What was their favorite book as a child?
the one he feels the most nostalgia for -- Where the Wild Things Are

25. Did their parents read them bedtime stories?
I feel fairly certain that they did. I'm sure this is the root of Dan's wonderful curiosity and genuine desire to learn... it always inspires me.
